After the Forge installation is completed You will need to download mods that you would like to have. There are a lot of websites that you can download mods from, but certain aren't as safe as other sites. Two reliable sites to download mods from are: Planet Minecraft

1 Open the Minecraft launcher.

2. Select the "Edit profile" button.

3 Change your version to the Forge one. For instance, you've installed Forge 1.7.10 So you need to select "1.7.10 Forge" in the edit profile tab.

4 Exit Minecraft.

1. Open your Home Windows from your task bar and enter "%appdata #"

2 Select 2: The ".minecraft" folder should be at the top of your screen.

3. Search for the "mods" folder. If you don't already have it, create one and name it "mods".

4 Don't extract your mod file if it is zip when you download it from a website. Drag the zip file into the "mods" folder. If the zip folder contains the jar files, you'll only need to drag the jar file to the "mods" folder.

5 Open your minecraft launcher again (Make sure you've set up your Forge profile If not then read Part 3 again). Click "Play" and you just need to wait for it to download additional libraries.  Haters Gonna Hate When it's done, you can play your now modded game! It loaded and everything is up-to-date. The launch screen is all I see. What can I do?

Some mods require core mods (e.g. CodeChickenCore) therefore make sure you read over a mod's page before downloading as it won't function if it doesn't have its required core mods.
